It is well known that the true way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and when commanding a rag tag band of villains, cut throats and vagabonds that usually populate the average mercanery warband, it is in every self-respecting Captain or Warlord's best interest to keep his minions well fed. Bulbo Chubb is one example of these "Mercenary Cooks", travelling chefs who are renowned for thier skill, ingenuity and resourcefullness - it takes alot of knowhow to create even a half-edible meal from naught but crusty vegetables, rancid horse meat and old bootleather. Halflings or Hobbits are known for thier love of good food, and an aptitude for cooking in all of it's forms is prevelant in all of the members of this race. Famous throughout the mercinary warbands, Bulbo is in high demand for his services, his "Nag's Head Gumbo" having an almost reverant reptuation amongst those who have had the luck to sample it.
