Hi

I see the need for a means to protect the forum from spam, but I find the word verification annoying. specially when I'm editing a post and need to vertify it everytime.

Re: Word verification

That's a good point. I hate capchas, but we need something to keep the spammers at bay. The trick is to do it without annoying regular posters too much.

I've added a special group for regular posters. If you're a member, you shouldn't see the Capcha. Ever. Well as long as you're logged in, anyway.

I've tried to add all the regular posters, but I've probably missed some. If you'd like to join, you don't need to do anything - I'll add you once I notice. However, if you're still getting capchas and you'd like to expedite the process, reply to this message and I'll sort it out.

Re: Word verification

Don't get me wrong, I'd rather see the capchas than spam. But if you found a way to get the best of both, then "way to go" "thumbs up" and all that.

ps. It's a good thing to know that I've managed to make it to the inner circle :D

Re: Word verification

I noticed something about the inner circle, while updating my signature. When everybody is a privileged user, then everybody can send email to everybody. Not a big problem, but nice to know.
