Ooo thats posh.
I take it this forum is replacing the other one.
Are we going to be able to add Avatars, use signatures etc?
HN
Oh yes! It is very posh! :P
I've had a bit of a faff around, and you can now have pictures and signatures too! :) Good stuff all round!
- Warpy
Sorry guys, the comments that we post seem to go on top of each other, with the newest at the top and the oldest at the bottom :S I'm talking to James about it now, sorry team!
- Warpy
Comments should be appearing in the right order now.
Sorry for any confusion.
Looking at avatars...
James
I think i've enable avatars James, but for some reason the "limit" isnt working... I've said what the minimum size is, but you can upload any size of picture still :/
- Warpy
My Avatar seems to be working now, though I had to upload it again.
Something else I have noticed is formatting options for posts...it just mentions html tags but no buttons for lame people like me :D
Also what about subscribing to threads & notifications?
Keep up the good work James! :)

Okay, bit of a change to message formatting...
If you expand "Input Format", you can pick between several different formatting methods. The default is now "Formatted Text" which lets you pick basic formatting (nothing too fancy) using buttons as described above.
You can have bold, italics, underline, links and images:
If you don't like rich editors, you can switch to (restricted) HTML, BBCode (like most forums) or even plain text.
When you pick what you want, you can edit your default under "My Account".
Hope you like it!
James
Great stuff James, much easier!

Just testing something... please ignore.
there is an issue on the webshop. this code is displaye: <span style="color: red;">Out of stock</span>. I'm not to worried about the falty code, but it's a bit anoying the way it make the page look.
Also, I'm not able to change my forum/comment field default from rich text to BBC code. This is also anoying when I'm done writing a coment and pressing save, and instead of seeing my new post, I get a message saying that I need to write something in the coment field only to discover that what I did write is gone. (cut'n past FTW)
Thanks for the comments Dolphini!
Out of interest, what browser are you using?
Yes, the red text is a bit naughty, but how does it look for you? It should produce red text on a white background.
You can now set your default text editing mode. To do this, go to "My account", select "Edit", then click on the "Profile" tab. You'll then see a drop-down list for "Input method". Pick your preference from the four choices available:
- Formatted text - the rich text editor that doesn't agree with you (I've updated to a new version which might be better).
- BBCode - uses code in [ ] brackets standard on many bulletin boards.
- HTML - allows a restricted subset of safe HTML.
- Plain Text - for the purist: no formatting at all.
Hope you find this useful.

I've tried to change the input format, but it wont remember my settings. I want bbc, btw I'm using opera by default, but get the same result in IE. the red text don't show at all, only the code
found the new input format option. and it appears to be working fine
